Take back our out of control government(s)

I believe that WE the People DO have the power to regain control via a simple declaration.....
IF, we can get enough people (500K - 1Million ???) to send the following message to ALL of our elected officials; federal, state and local.

PS; I am 71 and am NOT up to date on social networking and don't have a web site or blog. I am asking for:
1. Comments on my Declaration
2. Helpful advice on how to disseminate it

A Declaration of Independence by We the People
to our out of control government


We The People of the 50 Sovereign united STATES of America do hereby declare that the Constitution is THE SUPREME LAW of of this confederation of STATES, and that any and all Executive Orders, Judicial Rulings, or Legislation made since it's ratification that do not follow the strict limitations stated by the ORIGINAL INTENT of the words of the Constitution and it's amendments at the time they became part of the Constitution are NULL and VOID.

(Any question that might arise in refrence to the interpretation of original intent will be decided by a panel of Constitutional Scholars chosen by the People.)


We the People DEMAND that ALL Oath taking officials and employees at ALL levels of government shall hereby refrain from performing ANY action that violates their Sacred Oath. ANY and ALL such violations will be cause for immediate removal from office, and all violators shall be subject to charges of TREASON and the penalties associated therewith.


In order to keep this revolution peaceful, We the People ask that all Members of the Military, as well as Law Officers at all levels of government, perform the duty that their oath requires, by maintaining control and custody of any and all persons, who attempt to circumvent this declaration in any manner.

In line with the opening paragraph:

We demand that Congress, with the assistance of the FBI and IRS, undertake an immediate, thorough audit of the Federal Reserve Administration, and associated Banks, with the goal of;
1. Determining how much profit they have made since their inception.
2. Calculating, and collecting, the total amount of unpaid taxes, interest and penalties owed, based on the 'normal' policies applied to all PRIVATE banking institutions during that time.
3. The permanent repeal of any and all special laws/rules/priviledges previously granted to the Federal Reserve.



We demand that Congress and the Department of Defense expeditiously develop plans to;
1. Return ALL US military contingents from foreign soil.
2. Redirect all funds previously allocated to offensive systems into defensive systems and to provide aid and assistance to current and past military members and their families.

We demand that Congress and the Department of State void any and all treaties (both military and economic) currently existing and make the following declaration on behalf of We the People:

"We the People of the united States of America hereby pledge friendship to all nations of the world. We intend to have free and unfettered trade with any nation who will agree to do likewise. However we will no longer have any entangling alliances, and therefor remove ourselves from the 'United Nations' and give notice that the UN has 90 days from this date to remove all facets of that organization from our soil."

We expect our federal, State and local governments to immediately set into motion any plans necessary to remove all agencies that have been setup in violation of the Constitution applicable to those individual government entities.

We hereby pledge to totally reverse 233+ years of unconstitutional activities, including any and all government interference and distortions in our school systems, and every other facet of our lives, that have turned our country into something that would be unrecognizable and abhorrent to the Founders of this great country.

We strongly urge all forms of media to cease and desist the dissemination of lies, half truths, or the promotion of distortions that do a disservice to the cause of justice and freedom.


We ask all citizens who believe that the Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land to join us in this declaration by sending signed copies to ALL of your elected officials. Please include your complete address as evidence to them that you are one of their constituents.

That is great, and I couldn't agree more with the sentiment!

However, I think even with a large backing behind this it will be pretty tough to get our government to actually commit to acknowledging so many usurpations. Just ask the We The People Foundation - they have been petitioning the federal gov't for redress of grievances on their abuses of the constitution for 10+ years, with little to no response. Which brings me to my next point:

I would highly recommend getting involved with and promoting Continental Congress 2009. This is being headed up by the We The People Foundation as the next best step to getting our government back in control. They have the resources to make this happen and they just need our help and support. As I'm sure you're aware, we haven't had a Continental Congress since 1776 and 1774. These were a coming together of concerned citizens that had a list of grievances against the king that had been unanswered for a long time, and the parallels we find ourselves in this day and age are numerous. The original Continental Congress meetings of course led to the Declaration of Independance and our independance from Britain.

We The People Foundation have brought together a coalition of liberty-minded and constitutionalist groups (25+ and growing, including the Constitution Party, G. Edward Griffin of Freedom Force, Micheal Badnarik, former Libertarian Party presidential candidate, and many more) to support this endeavor. We need to spread the word and get the numbers behind this historic effort! Every state will elect 3 delegates (through "we the people", not any functioning government body) to attend CC2009 in November. There, the delegates will meet - under full transparency (meetings will be webcast) - and decide what "we the people" need to do next to bring back constitutional government, peacably and legally. This is NOT to be confused with a Constitutional Convention! We do not want politicians rewriting the Constitution, we just want them to obey they one we already have! (See my blog for a short blurb on that subject). Your "Second Declaration" is a good idea, and it might be a good thing to submit to your state's delegates as something to be discussed at CC09! In fact, I've seen a similar idea floating around that seems to be authored by a member of We The People's Colorado chapter, so that might be submitted as well... With the backing of a group like We The People, and the coalition they're forming, maybe we will have a much better chance for success of getting measures like this some traction!

Dear JC4Liberty,

I have been a member of We the People since 09 January and have had an automatic monthly donation scheduled from day one. My vote for Virginia Delegates has been sent. I have been forwarding, on average, 5-7 emails every day, for almost two years from DownsizeDC, Restore the Republic, We the People, Committees of Safety, The Tenth amendment Center, End the FED, Restoring the Heart of America (Common Sense Revisited), and other like minded organizations including WorldNetDaily (since mid summer).

Having recently see the huge response to the WND Pink Slip campaign which is approaching 4 Million at $29.95 each, I now believe that my proposed new 'Declaration of Independence' costing only a few dollars for printing and mailing could, if widely distributed, easily create many 10s of millions of responses.

As I stated in my submission, I do not have a website and am not well acquainted with the 'social' networks. I was really hoping that you and/or others who frequent this site could get me some pointers as to how I might be able to get this 'declaration' spread around the web.

Please give me some help, if you can find the time.

Great to hear, Jim. Sorry for my slow response. I think all those causes you mentioned are great, and I try to be involved in them or spread info about them as well. I haven't heard about the WND Pink Slip campaign yet though, I will have to look into that.

I definitely think social networks, websites, etc would help spread the word about your declaration idea and would definitely be helpful. By all means, feel free to spread the word using this site if you want, I'm glad to help a fellow patriot. You can send out the link to your post here, or write a blog about it with even more details and spread the link to your blog. You might consider starting up a Facebook "cause" for it as well. I'll keep this in mind and If I think of some other specific ideas I'll let you know...

Very good document James. The only problem is the people you want to adopt this really don't give a shit. You noticed this summer when people came to town halls and vented about their government intrusions into our lives, it really got their attention. But that's all it got. Now they are going to pass government health care anyway. They don't listen and they don't care. To me there is only three ways to change this. The first and preferred way is to find Constitutional adherents to run for office and vote them in. Will take a while but would be effective. The second is term limits but won't get enough votes from those in power now, but would also be effective as would keep lifers from running in the first place. The last and least wanted is physical conflict. To me, I don't care which one is used as long as one is. All we have to do is look at europe to see where our future is headed. I don't think any REAL American wants that.
